Tracey Hawthorne has written features and columns for numerous leading publications, including Cosmopolitan, Fairlady, Femina, Getaway, GQ (for which she was books editor for 32 issues), House and Leisure, Men's Health, O The Oprah Magazine, Psychologies and Shape. She has also written and/or contributed to many fiction and non-fiction books, including field guides, travel guides and wine guides, Tumble-Turn: The Natalie du Toit story (Oshun), the short-story collection Open (Oshun) and John Meyer: A Retrospective 1972-2012 (Minx), and edited dozens of fiction and non-fiction books.
Tracey is involved in corporate work, writing press releases, annual reports, prospectuses and high-end brochures, and producing material for financial-services companies. She also presents writing courses. She was the launch editor for ‘i’ magazine (City Press’s Sunday supplement), and continues to contribute regularly to that magazine.
