Marian Michaux

Marian Michaux has worked as a language teacher for over 20 years, and has extensive knowledge and experience in teaching grammar. From 2006 to 2018 she taught English as a second language in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to adult students from a diverse range of nationalities, cultures and ethnic backgrounds.

In addition to a BA and HDE, she has the CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults). Marian is also a certified IELTS Speaking Examiner (International English Language Testing), and has been assessing students for almost a decade.

Alex Smith

Alex Smith is the award-winning author of five novels: Algeria’s WayDrinking from the Dragon’s WellFour Drunk Beauties, Devilskein & Dearlove (published by Random House/Umuzi) and Agency Blue (published by Tafelberg).

At the end of each module, you will be required to complete several writing exercises. Once a writing assignment has been completed and emailed to your tutor, you will receive an assessment and feedback, and the module will be considered complete.
